As an engineer turned educator, I know firsthand that mastering advanced Math and Physics is less about memorizing formulas and more about building a sharp and analytical mindset. Guiding Grade 11 and 12 students through the demanding Cambridge and SwitchedOn curricula, I’ve learned how to break down intimidating, abstract theories into clear real-world concepts that actually click. I believe that Math and Physics are not just subjects to be memorized, but languages to be spoken. My method centers on Conceptual Deconstruction—breaking down complex and abstract theories into logical building blocks that relate to the real world.
As an instructor with a technical background, I don't just teach you how to solve an equation, I show you why the equation exists.
Guided Discovery (15-20 mins): Introducing the new topic through a practical problem. We explore the "logic" behind the formula together.
Active Practice (20 mins): We tackle Cambridge or SwitchedOn past paper questions. I move from "doing it with you" to "watching you do it," providing instant feedback.
The Summary & "Roadmap" (5 mins): We recap the key takeaway and I outline how this connects to the next topic in your curriculum.
