About JOBY
Hello! My name is Joby, and I am a passionate church pianist, educator, and Christian minister from India. Music has been an important part of my life for many years, and I enjoy helping students discover the joy of playing the piano with confidence and creativity.
I have several years of experience playing the piano in church worship services, accompanying congregational singing, choirs, and special events. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adapted to each student's learning pace. I believe that every student can learn to play well with the right guidance and consistent practice.
Alongside my musical background, I have experience in education and mentoring, which helps me explain concepts clearly and support learners of different ages and abilities. I welcome children, teenagers, and adults, whether they are complete beginners or have some previous experience.
My goal is to help every student build strong musical foundations, enjoy learning, and develop the confidence to perform, accompany worship, or simply play for personal enjoyment.

I offer friendly, structured, and engaging online piano lessons tailored to each student's goals and ability. My teaching combines music theory with practical playing, helping students develop correct technique, rhythm, sight-reading, ear training, and musical expression. I also teach worship piano, hymn accompaniment, and Christian contemporary music for those interested in church ministry.
Each lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes and includes warm-up exercises, technical practice, learning new pieces, and personalised feedback. I encourage students to practise between lessons and provide guidance and exercises to support steady progress.
As an experienced church pianist with several years of worship ministry, I have accompanied congregational singing, choirs, and church services. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, adults, beginners, and intermediate learners. Whether you are learning piano for personal enjoyment, examinations, or church worship, I will help you build confidence and achieve your musical goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.
