About Yuqiao
I started teaching others as a tutor since I was in college, in subjects like AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Physics C, etc. That tutoring experience helped me learn how I should do to help my students understand better. What I learned soon became practically useful - I was chosen to be a teaching assistant in a linear algebra course with 60 students. With my experience and deep understanding in math, I answered students' questions and helped them improve their understanding of those complicated theorems. All my students found it helpful to ask me for an advice and I'm proud that I truly helped them.
I have now been tutoring officially for four years, mainly in college math courses like linear algebra, calculus, discrete math, algebra, analysis, etc. I have a good record on tutoring websites such as Chegg and Wyzant. During these four years, I cooperated with students of various background and I have gained much experience of working with students. I believe I can help my clients to accomplish their goals.
