About Muhammad Ali
I am an experienced mathematics instructor with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Mathematics, along with many years of teaching experience at the university level. I have taught students from diverse academic backgrounds and have helped them build stronger mathematical skills, improve their problem-solving abilities, and gain confidence in subjects they once found challenging.
I believe that every student can learn mathematics with the right explanation, patience, and guidance. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment where you can ask questions freely and learn without feeling pressured.
I take my teaching responsibilities seriously and come prepared for every lesson. I adapt my teaching style to each student's level, learning goals, and pace. Whether you need help preparing for an exam, understanding a difficult concept, completing coursework, or strengthening your overall mathematics foundation, I will work with you step by step.
With my background in mathematics, engineering, statistics, computational methods, and data analysis, I can also show you how mathematical concepts connect to real-world applications.

My lessons are designed to make mathematics clear, practical, and less intimidating. I have extensive teaching experience in mathematics, statistics, and engineering, and I have worked with students at different levels, from beginners to college students.
I teach College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I–III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics, Numerical Methods, Mathematical Modeling, and Data Analysis. I can also help students with Python, R, MATLAB, and other computational tools when mathematics and programming overlap.
My teaching approach is personalized to each student's needs. I first identify the concepts that are causing difficulty, then break them down into simple steps and use examples and practice problems to build understanding. I focus not only on getting the correct answer but also on helping students understand the reasoning behind each solution.
Whether you are preparing for an exam, struggling with a particular topic, taking a college mathematics course, or simply want to strengthen your mathematical foundation, I will work with you at your own pace and help you become more confident and independent in solving problems.
