About Hakeem

I am a dedicated Mathematics educator with approximately 20 years of professional experience in classroom instruction and private tutoring. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Lagos State University, which allows me to blend deep mathematical theories with practical, structured, and logical problem-solving frameworks. My passion for teaching stems from a desire to demystify numbers and show students that mathematics is not a subject to be feared, but a powerful tool for developing analytical thinking. Over the last two decades, nothing has been more rewarding to me than seeing a student transition from feeling overwhelmed by math anxiety to confidently mastering complex exam questions and achieving their absolute best academic potential.

About the lesson

My personal approach to private tutoring is centered on building absolute confidence and simplifying the underlying logic of numbers. I do not believe in rote memorization or shortcuts that leave students confused later on. Instead, I break down complex mathematical topics—such as Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Matrices—into clear, manageable, step-by-step "workings."

Every lesson is highly interactive and customized to the student's unique learning speed. We will systematically analyze past examination questions to understand the exact patterns used by examiners. Whether you are aiming to conquer intense math anxiety, stay ahead of your school curriculum, or secure top grades in upcoming IGCSE, WAEC, NECO, or UTME exams, my goal is to make mathematics simple, practical, and highly achievable for you.
