About Sumit Kumar
Hello, Sumit here! I am currently working as Staff Engineer at Synopsys Inc. I have a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay and Monash University Australia jointly. I have also completed my B.Tech from NIT Raipur and M.Tech from IIT Kanpur and have worked for about a year at the Center of Excellence (Sterlite Tech. R&D). I teach physics and maths for IIT-JEE and KVPY. Also, I was an active home tutor for 8th-12th grade students for more than 3 years during my Ph.D.

I believe in explaining the concept using real-time experience. Since our brain has a good eidetic memory, it tends to grasp the concept when explained in the form of real-life experience. My focus is more on the fundamentals rather than directly solving problems. A strong foundation will give a boost in confidence and will help in solving problems of any type.
