About Ifra
Hey there! I’m Ifra, a Year 11 student in Brisbane who wasn’t always great at math—but over time, I discovered how enjoyable and rewarding it can be! Now, I want to help younger students feel the same way by making learning simple, fun, and stress-free. My favorite subjects are business and science, especially biology, and outside of studying, I love reading, journaling, and playing badminton and table tennis! I’m tutoring because I want to gain experience while being the reason you have that "Aha!" moment—whether it’s solving a tricky problem or finally feeling confident in math and science. My goal is to motivate you, make learning fun, and show you that you can do this!

My tutoring approach focuses on making math and science easy to understand by breaking down complex topics into simple, step-by-step explanations. I use interactive activities, fun examples, and engaging exercises to keep young learners interested and motivated! I believe that learning should be stress-free and enjoyable, especially for younger students who are building their foundational skills.
Each lesson typically lasts 30 minutes to 1 hour, ensuring enough time to explain concepts and answer questions without overwhelming the student. I tutor primary school students (grades 2-5), helping them develop confidence in math and science.
I understand what it’s like to struggle with math and have worked hard to master it, which helps me relate to my students and teach them in a way that makes sense. Together, we can learn and prosper!
