About Zeenia

I am an engineering graduate and a working data engineer, but teaching math has always been one of my favorite things to do. I have spent years breaking down complicated ideas into simple, clear steps that actually make sense. I have tutored students for several years, helping many go from feeling stressed and overwhelmed to feeling confident and even excited about math. Watching their grades, problem-solving skills, and self-belief improve has been one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me. I am patient, positive, and I truly care about making students feel capable. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where they feel understood, encouraged, and ready to reach their full potential.

About the lesson

In every lesson, I focus on helping students truly understand what’s going on. I start by checking where the student is comfortable and where they feel stuck, then I walk them through new concepts using simple explanations, visuals, and clear step-by-step methods.

We work through practice problems together, starting easy and building up at a pace that feels manageable. I always pause to make sure everything makes sense, and I encourage students to ask questions freely. My goal is to make math feel less intimidating and more like something they can do.

Genuine and nice. She told me where I needed to improve and spend more time and that is where we focused and because of that I aced grade 12 Calc.

Also she made sure I understood math and not just memorized, which made me able to answer any type of Calc question even if I had never seen it before. Amazing!
