About Erica
Hello everyone, I am excited to meet all of you and help you achieve your creative goals! we all start somewhere, and as picasso said, "Every child is an artist, the problem is to remain an artist once they grow up". With my beginners painting courses I will show you step by step how to draw, sketch, and paint effectively with the correct tools to achieve your unique master piece! I have been an artist for over 15 years, and always loved Art. I started out as a creative arts teacher for children, showing them how to paint, draw, using mixed media materials. last year I decided to expand my age group to help others become better at art as I had once wanted for myself. For those interested in my painting classes, we will be using, acrylic,oil, and water color based paints. For my drawing course we will be using graphite penils, (tip, you'll want to use a professional graphite eraser). If regular pencil is all you have and you just really want to learn how to draw, we can work with just that too.
My classes will be virtual for the time being using zoom and or in person outdoor for a socially distance one on one session.
I enjoy knowing I was able to help someone re-create something special we can touch, see, or feel. I love the emotional release and confidence painting/drawing gives me, and I know will grant you the same. Wether it's a short term or long term goal, we're here to be creative,period.
