About Suzana

Creating visual art can often be a spiritual and healing act. Teaching beyond just technique so there is creative expression and flow is what I’m passionate about.

I have taught adults and children of various ages. I've also worked with individuals with intellectual challenges and autism. Everyone can benefit from creating art. It is one of the most therapeutic activities.

I used to supervise a day program for adults with disabilities where I regularly lead painting lessons for both the staff and participants of the program.
I also held private lessons at my art gallery which was located at The Castle Inn in Delaware Water Gap, PA.

I attended the High School of Art & Design and took lessons at Parsons School of Design in NYC. Most of the work I do now is self taught.

About the lesson

I like to get to know new students and understand what they would like to learn and accomplish through the lessons. I also let them know about me, the various ways I create art and what I can teach them.

I have taught adults and children of various ages. I also worked with individuals with intellectual challenges and autism.
