About Linda

I teach you what you want to learn to paint or draw. For example instead of having students paint the same picture I pick out, I want my students to paint something that interests them. My students pick out the picture they are interested in painting and I teach them to paint that image. I am a student of the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC which closed in 2015 after 150 years of teaching artist. I began drawing and painting very young. I have won a several awards over the years and began displaying my art with in the last 9 years in Cocoa Village and teaching drawing & painting.

I really enjoy sharing and opening the eyes of my students to creative possibilities. I believe there is no wrong way to create art as it is an expressive process. It is all experimentation.

About the lesson

I start off new students by asking them to show me any of their work they have done in the past so I can see the progress they have made. Then I take it from there as to what projects we can do to build their education. I teach the grid system to learn to draw and help you develop your own style.

I work with ages 5 and up. Inspiration has no age limit and no boundaries and should be fun. Learning to look at the world from a different perspective can be taught very simply. My studio is filled with interesting ideas geared to spark your imagination. I have a few students in area galleries.

Look for someone who will bring out your creativity in a fun and pleasurable way.

Recently I created a 6' seahorse made out of seashells and beach finds which was featured in a commercial promoting an art walk for construction of new aquarium in Cape Canaveral.
