About Jeremy

I consider myself an artist with about 30 years of experience. I also consider myself a teacher with over 4 years of experience teaching 2-100 people with over 700 events taught. I use graphite, colored and even pastel pencils to create realistic pieces. I throughly understand acrylic painting on canvas, tote bags, wood palettes, walls and many more surfaces. I’m very experienced in landscape, realism and abstract. This is just the beginning.

Im a social creature and can absolutely get along well with a lot of people. I love to see the effect art has on others. Once they see it’s the beauty of releasing your creativity that matters. Art is subjective, love it for you.

Word of mouth at first. Now it’s my career. I worked for a Traveling paint company for 3 1/2 years. Now I’m an Assistant Studio Manager for Pinot’s Palette in St. Louis Park.

I’m an artist for over 30 years. I have taught 2-100 people and I’ve hosted over 700 teaching events over 4 years. Very familiar with drawing with graphite, colored pencils and pastels. Very familiar with acrylic in many forms from marble pour, glassware and fabrics to the standard canvas.

About the lesson

It’s about communication. What does a new student hope to achieve by working with an art instructor? We’ll break it down, come up with an itinerary that works and move forward with a lot of practice.

Children 6+ to adults of all ages.

Experience teaching and working with peole are a bonus. You’ll enjoy the process much more when you’re excited to learn. Remember, art is subjective. Learn to love it first!

Taught a “Harry Potter” themed paint class. The excitement and energy was amazing. The finished products were received so well by all. Everyone was happy!

The first free lesson with Jeremy will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details

$25 for the first hour. Each additional hour is $15 in the same session. For example: 2 hours would cost $40 instead of $50. In order to receive the price break, hours must be purchased together for one session and not split between different sessions. Prices reflected are per person. I’m always running specials. My winter special is: Pre-buy 4 sessions and get your 5th for free. Minnimum 1 hour sessions but no limit on how long the sessions can last (I can art all day!). I provide a list of supplies I’ll be using which I will allow student to use during our sessions but not to take home. The list is for you to buy so you can practice at home.
