About Felicia
Skilled and experienced Designer, 16 years of experience in the fashion and home industry, with an incredible range of expert skills as a graphic and textile designer. Knowledgeable in various graphic software:
Photoshop, Illustrator, NedGraphics, and Microsoft Programs on both MAC and PC platform.
Early in my life I learned to draw, watercolor, paint with oil, screen printing, and sewing.
I can teach both hand art skills and computer graphic skills. We can even incorporate designs onto wearable/physical products.
Being able to be creative and not being told what to do when it comes to creating artwork.
I've mentioned and taught workshops beginning in 2002 while working for a non for profit organization in New York. We would offer afterschool classes when students could come in and design/draw whatever they wanted and learned how to incorporate it onto products. We also would go to museums and teach art skills through workshops.
I've taken art classes ( majored in fashion and minored in art) in high school as well as college. I've learned how to draw with pencils, color pencils, watercolor, markers, oils, gouache, acrylic, screen printing, tie dyeing, and sewing. I've done still life, landscapes, portraits, fashion sketches & drawings, and human figures. I picked up graphic design in sophomore year in college and have used it in my 16 year career in the industry.

Talk either by phone or meetup if they are close by to gage where their skill is at in interested media. Find out what they like to paint or inspire to do with the skill (create something for themselves, other, what's it going on, etc). See what medium they have and then tell them what they need. Then make sure they are fine with the fee, if they agree, will set up another time to meet up with necessary art supplies they will need to begin.
Ive worked with students from the age of 10-17.
