I studied art at the Universtiy of Montana and the Art Institute of Seattle.
I am a formalist. My focus is on shapes and colors and how to use the shapes and colors we perceive to build a painting.

I hosted a paint and sip for 36 ladies. Amy was the artist who taught us all how to create the sample painting. Most people painted the same theme but few did other things and Amy was helpful with their questions in addition to providing instructions to the large group. Everyone enjoyed the event and took home a fun piece of art. We will definately have Amy lead the next painting event we have.
