About Gwendolyn

Through the work and positive spirit that I share with others

I really enjoy creating whether it's painting, crafting, or photography the process allows for the inner you to get uplifted and energized. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with all ages from youths, teens, adults to seniors (with and without disabilities). I am always inspired and amazed by what others do as well. We learn and grow ftom each other and through art there are no limitations!

In 1999, I co-created my organization IAM (Incorporation of Artists on the Move, Inc). I have been a big advocate of arts and education since this time. It is essential that everyone has access to engaging in creative outlets. I have seen lives transformed and people feeling more empowered after they have created a work of art.

I am a graduate of FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I have been a Teaching Artist/Educator for over 18 years working with adults, seniors, and teens with and without disabilities. I love sharing art and how others can discover their talents too!

About the lesson

I start off by having a conversation to get to know the person first by asking what mediums do they like to work in and subjects are they interested in i.e., landscapes, portraits, or even cartooning! This method breaks the ice and allows for friendly conversation

I charge by the hour. Topically $100 per hour. But I am open to negotiations. Especially for multiple sessions and one on one sessions
