About Eric

Eric Gibbons is a highly qualified, award winning, Nationally Board Certified art teacher, with over 30+ years experience and a second certification in elementary education. He is also a published author, speaker, publisher, award winning inventor, and gallery owner with more than 20 years experience. His novel intercurricular, choice-based, STEM/STEAM approach to art education has been shared globally through his blog.

Eric Gibbons is a 3rd generation artist. Art has always been a part of his life and encouraged by his family from a very young age. "Art is like breathing, a necessary component of life."

Eric Gibbons is a doubly certified teacher. He holds a lifetime certification in Elementary Education grades K-8, and a lifetime certification in Art Education grades K-12. He has also taught at the college level at Cape May County Community College. He is a writer of curriculum for two schools, provider of professional development on the local, state, and national level, and author of over 50 books related to art and education, often on Amazon's top 100 Art Education Resources. As an artist his work is in international collections both private and public, including the Obama White House.

About the lesson

You will need to contact me through my blog to set up lessons. I work with ages 10 through adult in groups of 10. If I need to travel, additional expenses will be incurred. Typically lessons are 90 minutes and cost $20 per hour per student in groups. Art supplies are not included. I can teach painting, drawing, and light sculpture.

We work with students of all levels of ability from the ages of 10 through adult in groups of 10.

This will be dependent on the situation. For a group, virtual instruction is $250 per hour. For in-person teaching, travel will need to be calculated.
