About Erin
I am an artist myself and believe that in order to express ideas through visual arts, people must understand technical processes. I am passionate about my art and want to share thate passion with others while teaching them the tools they need to effectively communicate through painting and drawing.
I love both art and people. Teaching art to otehrs allows me to combine my people oriented personality with one of the biggest passions in my life. Throughout history, art technique and training has been passed down through teacher student relationships and it is a joy to be a part of that.
As an upcoming college graduate, I am extremely new to the field of teaching or tutoring in a formal setting. I have taught a few short lessons to small groups and have written out a number of lesson plans to share with individual friends. Despoite being new to formal teaching, I have speant the past four years learning with and from my cohorts at Berry and developing the ability to explain concepts to my peers.
