About Denisse

I love teaching! I find that art any art music, poetry, or fine arts, will help a person to excel better in the world. I teach drawing, painting, sculpture, and crafts.

I love that look in their face when they realize, I can do it!

I always wanted to teach and I started teaching my sibling and cousins since I was 16 art and tutoring.

I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Education. I studied at our Lady of the Lake and I'm a art teacher at an Elementary School.

About the lesson

I will write down their passions and get to know the student to know where we start.

I have worked from pre-kinders to adults.

Get to know your teacher first to see if you find a connection and then chat about art your likes and dislikes to get a feel of her knowledge in art.

I had a student he was 16, he was really good in drawing when I met him but he did not know how to shade. One day I showed him the difference that value does in a drawing, we worked together on a drawing he was doing of horses. I still remember his face, he was amazed with the difference value does.
