About Ratan
We are a new collective of high achieving students who gradutaed from top 20 universities. Currently we are pursuing doctorate degrees in high education/medicine/engineering. We have had years of experience teaching various subjects to students of all ages, and after much access have decided to help others out as well. We understand what a student needs, and how there are many different learning styles; our goal is to find yours and get the grade for you that you want.
We have scored highly on all standardized test: 2200 + on SAT, 5's on the various AP exams, 21+ on DAT, etc.
Since some of our parents are teachers, it pushed us to do the same. However, we wanted to versatile and since we have degress in complicated subjects we chose to pursue this.
We have tutored through various volunteering agencies. Have had jobs in numerous tutoring companies. Some of our parents are teachers themselves, so have first seen how a teacher prepares to teach a class.

We first like to ask them and possibly their parents what they want out of this tutoring session. Based on that, we made a customized exam to evaluate the student's current level. Then we focus on the topics, which the student is weak on and further strengthen the ones they already excell in.
Of all ages, levels, backgrounds, and ethinicites.
We have worked in cities, and in suburbs.
One of us recently worked with a girl who was struggling with the math part fo the SAT's. It really helped when we were able to pinpoint her issue: taking word problems and translating them into a mathematical equation. Once we worked on that, her points jumped but a lot.
