About Rosana
Students will teach me, by having students explain their process and the way they think. I strongly agree in the best way to learn is by teaching.
I like adapting to the student and not the other way around.
Being that guide to make them feel worthy about themselves.
The best way to understand something is by teaching!
During college days, colleagues and I would get together and try to teach one another. This lead to me grasping well the materials and wanting to transmit that to other students and tutor them as a college student.
I have a Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering.
While in College would tutor students in calc 1 and 2. Also, would tutor high shool students and help them prepare for SAT/ACT along with other classes.

The very first step is to know what the student understands and then is trying to figure out what are the best teaching methods that go with the student.
I have worked with high schoolers and college students. For the high school students I would help them prepare them for SAT, ACT and other math classes they were having trouble with
Try to teach your tutor! This will make it easier for the tutor to know what you know and correct any possible missconceptions, if any.
I am fond of "AWWW!", "OHHH I get it!" moments!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Lists are great for this, write down what you know, and rate yourself on the topic. Along with your stengths, write down your weaknesses and what confusses you.
Write everything down! Every step of the problem, show your thinking on paper.
