About Russell
After 45 years of teaching, I still get a kick out of seeing the light bulb go on in a student's head when they get it.
I enjoy the give and take of learning and convincing a student that what they want IS possible. Seeing their confidence grow also makes me feel good.
I have a BSEd from Ohio University and a MSEd from Youngstown State University. I have been a teacher of Mathematics at the high school and college level for 45 years.

I try to find out what they are having trouble doing. I then help them to work through it and make sure that they understand the process and the thinking behind the process. Problem solving and applications are also an important part of what I do.
