About Joy
Dedicated Online Tutor for Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics & English | Nigerian, British & American Curriculum | Building Confident and High-Performing Students.
I’m Joy, a patient, supportive, and results-driven tutor passionate about helping students unlock their potential and enjoy learning.
I teach Mathematics, Science & English, working with learners across Nigeria, the U.S., Saudi Arabia, the U.K. and Canada. Teaching students of different age groups and learning levels. My approach combines patience, structure and personalised teaching to help students build understanding, confidence and long-term academic success.

Student Progress
Successfully prepared a Year 4 student for a secondary school entrance examinations typically taken in Year 6, resulting in successful admission through outstanding performance.
Introduced a 5-year-old student in the U.S. to numbers and foundational Mathematics. Within 3 months, the learner progressed to:
reading and writing numbers up to 100, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication also solving basic mathematical operations independently. This progress led the family to enroll the younger sibling, whom I currently support in developing early reading and writing skills. Through their referral, I currently teach their family friend's child at the elementary level using the U.S. curriculum.
Guided a U.S. based student through IGCSE English and Science preparation, strengthening understanding and helping the student achieve consistent A grades.
Currently teaching students based in the U.K. and Canada helping improve their school performance and strengthen understanding across subjects,leading to noticeable academic growth and helping students consistently perform at a higher level.

Dedicated teacher with over 6 years of experience in private tutoring (online and in-person) and classroom teaching. I make learning simple, interactive and tailored to each student’s pace using clear explanations, practical examples, and guided practice. I teach Mathematics, Science and English to primary and secondary students, helping them build confidence, strengthen understanding and improve academic performance. Lessons are typically 1 hour and designed to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences but can be adjusted depending on the student’s age, goals and concentration level.
