About Gary

As an avid tennis player with an infinite passion for the game, I love to transmit that passion and knowledge to players of all levels and ages.

An ex collegiate player with competition experience, I teach to kids and adults. Whether you want to improve your recreational game or make your high school team, I can help elevate your game.

My home courts are located in Rancho Bernardo - 92127.

I love tennis and sharing in my passion.
I would be on the courts every day if I could.

-Started teaching after college.
-Bachelors in Physical Education
-Attended Nick Bolletieri tennis academy as a junior
-Played competitive juniors and collegiate.
-Taught at various levels.

About the lesson

First, I assess your level by rallying or hitting balls together. We can discuss what areas of your game you want to improve and I will design classes around those goals.

All levels and ages.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out:
You must identify your strenghts and weaknesses in your game. I can help with that process so we can work on those weaknesses and turn them into weapons.

Deadly! Gary is an excellent coach. He's been teaching our three kids this summer, ages 5, 7 and 11 and they all love taking lessons with him. They look forward to it every week. Gary is very engaging and patient. He has lots of fun games up his sleeve to keep the kids interested, while focusing on improving technique and skills. He also values conditioning, which is a big plus. He's very courteous, professional and personable. He's always on time and has a great work ethic. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a tennis coach.

Gary is patient, motivating, and a lot of fun to learn tennis from. His lessons are engaging, and I always leave with at least one or two “nuggets” (if not a handful) of advice or pointers that elevate my game.
