About Sajeeb
I am a Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with over a decade of teaching and research experience at leading Australian universities. I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Melbourne and have extensive expertise in power systems, smart grids, renewable energy integration, and control systems. Over the years, I have also been deeply involved in mentoring students in Mathematics and Physics, helping them bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications. My academic journey has been complemented by strong industry collaborations and participation in several large-scale research projects funded by Australian Government agencies and industry partners. Through this experience, I bring a practical, insightful perspective to my lessons, encouraging students not only to master the curriculum but also to develop critical thinking skills essential for future success. I am passionate about education and committed to helping students achieve their academic and career goals. My approach to tutoring focuses on building strong foundational understanding while connecting theoretical concepts to real-world applications. I tailor my teaching techniques to suit each student’s learning style, often using step-by-step explanations, problem-solving sessions, and practical examples from engineering and technology. I encourage active participation, critical thinking, and gradually guide students toward independent learning.
A typical lesson is 1 to 1.5 hours, ensuring enough time to explain concepts thoroughly and practice problem-solving techniques. My qualifications include a Bachelor's and a PhD in Electrical Engineering, along with over 10 years of experience teaching university-level engineering courses and tutoring high school students in Maths and Physics. I have also conducted research in energy systems, power systems, and control engineering, which enriches my teaching with real-world insights.
My lessons are suitable for high school students (Years 9–12, including HSC and equivalent), first-year university students, and anyone preparing for entrance exams or engineering studies.
