About Ben

My name is Ben, I am from Nottingham in the UK and have been tutoring for 3 years. I specialise in helping students understand what a question is really asking you to do, so in future those more complicated questions become much easier to understand. All my past students have improved by one grade or more after just 10 sessions!

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Ben and I have years of experience in tutoring both maths and physics for both GCSE and A-level, with lessons between 1hr and 90 mins. I have taught groups in both schools and extra-curricular study environments; as well as having taught many students one on one both in person and online. Moreover, throughout my experience I have learnt many key skills for tutoring; although, I would say the most important is tailoring the experience to the pupil. To expand, this means no carbon copy lesson plans or robotic work sheets, I pride myself on providing a unique personal experience in my teaching no two students are the same so neither should their lessons be. I really like to understand the student and their needs, my lessons should mirror their school work so they can excel in class and get the best possible grades. I look forward to getting to know you!
