About Ellie
Hi,
I'm Ellie, a final year student in the University of Galway studying Mathematics and Education. On track to become a fully qualified secondary school mathematics teacher next year.
I love seeing my students succeed and the moment when the maths "clicks". I am a great believer that everyone can succeed in mathematics. The key to my lessons is open communication and positivity.

I have experience in teaching at leaving cert and junior cert levels and am a great believer that everyone can succeed in mathematics.
With every student, I try to instill a positive attitude towards mathematics and belief in their mathematical ability. I also try to ground mathematical content in practical applications and links to other interests students may have.
Lessons generally last 45 minutes to an hour and I am willing to cover any content.
