I’m a game designing student and an aspiring writer who enjoys and excels in a few subjects that don’t even relate to my current course. I’ve been tutoring since highschool. My peers, students in lower grades and even family relatives.

I like to approach topics by first having my tutlings what they understand in terms of the work their covering. Also, what they don’t understand. They should write these down on two different columns, “what I do understand” and “what I don’t understand”. This should be kept for the end of the tutoring period to see if there’s been any improvement or not. It’s always great to know how a person studies, some visually, and others orally. I’ve found that people are able to remember and understand things simpler if it has relation to something common. With this, I know when referring back to a topic in an exam, they’ll think about and refer back to the common thing associated with it which turns out being less difficult.
