Former UMass Amherst instructor of credited physics courses and labs for physics majors and non-majors, incl. pre-med/engineering. Awarded for teaching in 2010.
Tutor of physics/math for 10+ yrs, w/ focus on standardized test prep (ACT SAT GRE etc).

I approach a tutoring session with open ears. Maybe you:

For those trying to maximize performance in the ACT/SAT math portion, we can fine-tune your techniques using official releases of test materials. These exams can be tricky, but rarely need to involve overly-detailed calculations.
