About Theotime
I am a 23 years old French student living in London since April 2019. For my gap year of my engineering programme in biology in the French Leading Institute for Food Technology, Environment and Life Sciences, I wanted to come to the UK to teach and improve my knowledge of English.

For me, the most important thing to be a good teacher is the capability of adapting to the student. As I get to know the student, I spot his or her weaknesses and focus my teaching on those. Some are good with memorising orally, others prefer writing or even drawing to understand. No matter how I present an idea or a concept to a student, my goal is that he understands it and memorises it. Therefore, I don't have a predetermined method. Concerning the tests, my method is simple: we practise with former tests that deal with the same subjects until we manage to do them correctly. No matter how long it takes! Teaching is all about patience and listening to the student to understand what he or she doesn't.
