About Vijeta
I hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, giving me both strong subject knowledge and effective teaching skills. I previously worked as a Principal Technician at the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA), where analytical thinking and accuracy were essential. I am confident in teaching math to primary and intermediate students, focusing on building strong foundations and making concepts easy to understand. I also have knowledge of the NCEA curriculum and understand how early math skills support future success. As a parent of two boys who excel in math, I bring patience, encouragement, and a supportive approach to help children grow in confidence and ability.
