About Joanna

I love teaching English because I know it's the key to unlock so many doors in career, travel and life. I was lucky enough to be born in an English speaking country, and I trained as an ESL teacher because I see it as a way to share what I was blessed to learn with those working hard to acquire English.

I've been teaching for more than five years now, and have helped thousands of students achieve their language goals.

About the lesson

CELTA Trained and degree qualified

5+ years teaching and tutoring experience

Beginner through to Advanced Learners

50 minute lessons tailored to student's needs using learner focused methodologies.

IELTS Test Prep including initial level assessment and marking/feedback available.

We will create a learning plan together to help you reach your goals at an achievable pace. This may be one or two lessons a week. You may want to focus on a particular skill or on improving your skills across the board. As I’m experienced with Business English, Academic English, IELTS, general English, reading, listening, speaking, writing and pronunciation, I’m able to help whatever you’re aiming for.
