About Samo
I am a recent student on a gap year after completing my A-levels and heading off to the University of Queen Mary in London having achieved all 9s in Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics at GCSE and ABB in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively. I have a flexible schedule and a passion for teaching those who may be struggling as I once did and succeeded with getting help from tuition myself as a student, my previous tutoring experience gives me a first-hand insight into understanding flaws, the correct manners in which to correct them and giving protocol for best efficiency for their revision.

I will try tested techniques I know have helped me succeed but fluid with the students' capabilities and most effective format. A lesson will be typically 1 hour long where the main structure of the curriculum will be taught chronologically with a hybrid approach for also teaching him what he may be learning at school or needs help with. I will start with a beginning 5-minute plan for the lesson with objectives such as: Going over previous key concepts and any help with homework from school or revision, then we will move forward with the topic for that lesson teaching the topic and actively engaging the student in active recall and this will about 30 minutes before moving on to guided practice and exam technique for the next 20 minutes with the last 5 minutes being setting a short homework. I wish to be able to speak as a qualified tutor due to me being a recent student in these subjects and having previous tutoring experience and these lessons are for all students who may be struggling in any field from how to revise to exam technique or even if they are not struggling, my teaching may be a useful tool for help supplicating the students' revision.
