About Kiyan
Hi, I’m Kiyan. I am a high-achieving sixth form student with 11 Grade 9s at IGCSE and four A* predictions in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. I hold offers from Oxford, Imperial College London, UCL and McGill University. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand both the subject content and the exam techniques needed to achieve top grades. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and reach their full potential in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I have over a year of teaching experience across a range of age groups. I taught Computer Science to middle school students at Raynes Park for a year, helping pupils develop both technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. I also spent a year running science lessons and practical experiments for primary school children, making complex ideas accessible and engaging. In addition, I led an IGCSE Maths clinic for a year, providing targeted support to students preparing for exams and helping them strengthen their understanding of key topics.

My tutoring style is patient, encouraging and tailored to each student’s needs. I believe that strong understanding comes before memorisation, so I focus on building solid foundations and developing problem-solving skills. Lessons are structured around the student’s goals, whether that is improving confidence, mastering difficult topics or achieving top exam grades. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and growing in confidence.
