About Almedina
Some of the qualities that I would like to highlight in me as a teacher include skills in communication, listening, the ability to repeat something as much as needed, empathy, patience, and an ability to go back to reword and paraphrase things that I notice have not been understood the first time around. I am also very sociable and have many fields of interest, so I will include the student's personal interests to make the class more fun, engaging, and student-oriented, and to lessen the chance of it ever being dull and boring.

I most often use a combination of individual learning, differentiated instruction, and technology-based teaching styles. With the first one, the focus is on the individual student and getting them to learn in a manner that is most effective for their needs. Here I will use journal entries, articles, texts, and documents to get the student to think through the given topics, and notice the grammar and vocabulary used so that in turn we can use it to our advantage to learn English better. This way, the student already practices thinking in English and analyzing English texts. Differentiated instruction is the type of teaching style that allows the creation of tailored education plans for students based on their personal needs. As all people have varying abilities and talents, it's beneficial for a teacher to adapt their teaching styles to unique students, take their pre-existing knowledge into account, and create a lesson plan that will help rather than confuse the student. Aside from this, I will also give different lessons based on the student's preference and the reason behind taking the classes (grammar-focused, speaking-focused, writing-focused, focusing on advancing their vocabulary, business vocabulary, etc.) To make sure that this is going according to plan, I will discuss student progress and at-home educational strategies every once in a while during a class prepared to be a progress-focused review. I can teach from elementary to upper intermediate level at any age. I can teach adults Business English as well.
