About Simba
**Introduction** Hello! My name is Simba Macheka, and I am passionate about teaching, tutoring and helping students achieve their academic goals. I have a strong background in Mathematics, Statistics & Data Analytics, English, Physics, Biology, Natural & Physical Sciences, with more than 10 years of experience tutoring students of various age groups and educational levels from GCEL- O/A Levels to undergraduate studies. **What I Teach** I specialise in teaching subjects such as Mathematics, Statistics, English, Physics, Sciences and I’m particularly skilled at simplifying complex concepts, exam preparation, curriculum syllabus time management and building confidence in learning skills. As your reliable tutor, I provide you a close one-on-one tutoring style that persistently works perfectly in sync with your Examining Board's curriculum and your individual academic goal development and accomplishment. Our first step to your academic accomplishment starts with a one-on-one comprehensive engagement to clarify and establish your Examining Board's academic curriculum objectives and time span available. Once that is clear and pencilled down, we engage in assisting for convenient study material (including course study guides) access. Our study plan is bilateral in approach, as the student is motivated to do their own individual effort (40%) and we complement by assistance through exam type question discussion and revisions. A typical class is usually 1 hour to 1hr 30min long, flexibly depending on the amount of work we need to cover against available study time before exams. I am a graduate qualified natural scientist with more than 15 years post-graduation experience in industry employment and tutoring services. My tutoring lessons are for all levels/age specifically from General Certificate of Education Level (GCEL- O to A-Level), to undergraduate tutorials.
