I am a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with 10 years of experience in visual art and illustration. I have published works and displayed work in exhibitions, and I have taught art classes for children of all ages. I enjoy working with traditional mediums like graphite, gouache paint, and ink, as well as digitally.

Starting with the basics, I will break down the fundamentals of observational drawing to help you feel comfortable drawing anything. Then we will go further, aiming to develop a personal voice and style for your unique practice, looking to artists and art movements throughout history and cultures for inspiration. I will tailor our lessons to fit your specific goals as an artist and meet you wherever you are in your artistic development. These lessons are for beginner to intermediate artists.
