About Ryka
I am a recent graduate of Parsons School of Design with a degree in Integrated Design and a passion for creative problem-solving. My experience spans graphic design, editorial design, fashion styling, and creative direction, working with brands, designers, and publications in New York. I enjoy helping students develop both technical skills and creative confidence, whether they are learning design software, building portfolios, or exploring new ideas. My teaching approach is patient, collaborative, and tailored to each student's goals, creating a supportive environment where learning feels engaging and rewarding.

I have fun while teaching and make art and design fun for everyone. I love telling stories and adding whimsy to my teaching practice. We will do lots of crafts and art, and my students leave my class feeling closer to art and also feeling smarter about design!
