About Dania

I have given classes to students in a particular way for 5 years, having already 15 students under my tutelage.

My students have directed their work and careers to graphic design and art, having several of these participations in artists' publications and in the development of their own comics.

About the lesson

I am a graduate of the Architecture degree from the Autonomous University of Baja California.
Although I am dedicated to architecture, my passion is the drawing of comic and manga, focused on the style of chibis and always giving touches of color to my works.

I use traditional and digital drawing techniques, teaching both drawing, software and tablet habilities to focus on drawing according to the student's style.

My methodology is based on working with the student based on their abilities, with face-to-face sessions where we review all the doubts and based on the practice with simple exercises we develop the handling of the materials and knowledge of anatomy.

At the end of the course we do a final project, where we make a complete illustration, with background and details taking into account everything learned, and we make a small comic oneshot to develop a story.
