Tim Barnes is a self-taught hyperrealist graphite artist and experienced art tutor based in Bristol. Blending precision with abstraction, he helps students of all ages explore realistic and imaginative drawing techniques. Exhibited at Centre Space and Art & Soul, Tim shares his passion for detail and creativity, guiding others to develop skill, confidence, and an appreciation for the art of observation.

Techniques & Teaching: I focus on building strong drawing skills while encouraging creativity. Lessons combine demonstrations, guided practice, and personalised feedback, mainly using graphite and realistic techniques. Lesson Length: 45–60 minutes, flexible to your needs. Experience: Over 10,000 hours of drawing and extensive tutoring in schools, including supporting SEND students. Who It’s For: Beginners to advanced artists of any age, tailored to your goals.
