Hello! I’m Mihail a dedicated educator with a PhD and Master’s in Engineering with many years of university lecturing and teaching A, IEB or IGCSE experience. My mission is to help you master Maths and Physics by bridging the gap between complex theories and real-world applications.
Having taught at the university level, I understand exactly where students struggle and how to build the critical thinking skills needed for long-term success. The same for High Schools students, aiming for success. Whether you are preparing for high school exams or tackling advanced university-level coursework, my lessons are tailored to your specific needs and learning style.
I offer expertise in:
High School: Maths (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Basic Calculus, Statistics); Physics (Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Electromagnetism, Atomic Physics)

Driven by a purpose to succeed, my teaching strategy is:
• Understanding the student’s strong points and his/hers pattern of thinking and tailor a method and pace of teaching that leads to success
• Resolving gaps in knowledge to ensure the full understanding of a topic
• Any complex structure can be explained by simple concepts. Any concept has an analogue part in real life, only to be identified.
• Teaching how to think and understand any problem in Physics or Mathematics by interaction and feedback with the student.
• Interleaving other subjects where either Mathematics or Physics applies
• Past papers analysed in detail, preparation for Matric
• Teaching to ask the right question in order to choose a right answer
At High School level, I can prepare for Olympiads, local or international
At undergraduate level, I can tutor:
• Calculus and Advanced Calculus

• Complex Numbers
• Partial Differential Equations & Differential Geometry
