About Hannah

As your tutor, my goal is to make sure you leave our lesson confident, and with more tools in your arsenal to help you study and process what you are learning! Working through easy and hard subjects doesn't stop in school. Life is full of never-ending opportunities to grow and be challenged. I want to help you build the confidence and skills you will need to face whatever comes your way. Whether you are preparing for a test, working on your study skills, preparing for a speech, or learning to write for the first time - I am here to help! I can't wait to meet and begin helping you grow towards achieving your goals!

About the lesson

As your tutor, I want to support you and your success! My tutoring approach is threefold: *Assessing Each Child's Strengths & Needs -What subject(s) does the child excel in and find “comfortable” doing & studying for? -What subject(s) does the child need the most support with? *Study Techniques & Strategies -What study techniques has the child been using? What has & hasn’t worked for them up to this point? -How does the child best process baseline and new information? Do they like to use flashcards, auditory, visual, etc. *Continued Skill Progression & Retention -Reinforcing strategies that work in order to support the child’s confidence and comprehension -Increasing the integration of new and harder curriculum to progress the child’s workable knowledge of their current level and higher levels to come. My lessons are for kids who are in public, private, or homeschool settings. My focus is for kids who need more one-on-one support, and who need more time to work through and fully comprehend the subjects they need help with.
