About Samuel
Who am I? I’m an A-Level student studying Maths, Further Maths and Physics, with top GCSE results including a Grade 9 in Maths. I’ve also studied Computer Science to a high level. I’ve mentored younger students as Deputy Head Boy and on the Student Council, and I know what it takes to succeed at GCSE. Why I want to teach Coming from an underprivileged background, I learned how to achieve top grades without endless resources. I want to share those strategies and help students build the same confidence in Maths, Physics and Computing — not just to pass exams, but to really understand the subjects and become strong problem-solvers.

Hi, I’m an A-Level student currently studying Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I achieved Grade 9 in Maths at GCSE, with overall results among the very best in my year group ((concealed information)). I offer 1-hour lessons in GCSE Maths, Physics, and Computer Science (as well as KS3 foundation work). My approach: • Focus on building problem-solving skills as well as content knowledge. • Work on individual weaknesses with tailored practice. • Use challenging and exam-style questions to boost confidence. • Provide mini tests and progress checks every few lessons, with digital records so progress is clear. I have mentoring experience as a Deputy Head Boy and Student Council member, where I worked with younger years. Coming from an underprivileged background, I understand how to achieve top grades without endless resources — and I want to pass on those strategies. My lessons are ideal for students aiming for strong GCSE results in Maths, Physics or Computing, or those who want to build confidence at KS3.
