About Seth

I am a Level 8 RCM student with a love for teaching young musicians, especially those aged 8-10, who are ready to discover the joy of music. I already work with an amazing student who's making fantastic progress and I'm eager to help more students discover their musical abilities. Whether your child is a total beginner or has some experience, I’ll guide them every step of the way.

About the lesson

Starting off with the right techniques and habits is crucial. Which is why I aim to do it right. My lessons will consist of a mixture of warming up with scales and patterns, old and new ones. As we work through the different level books, I will allow my students freedom to choose whatever piece they feel most drawn to. With my experience, I’m excited to pass on what I’ve learned to others. Tutoring allows me to share my love for the instrument while helping beginners and intermediate students discover their own musical journey. My approach focuses on creating a supportive and inspiring environment, tailored to the unique needs of each student. I aim to make learning enjoyable and fulfilling, emphasizing not only technical skills but also the expression and creativity that makes music so powerful.

Many times if a student is forced to play any instrument, but not shown the value of playing an instrument, there will be a stunt in growth, both musically and technically. Having a love and compassion will take any student far in their abilities. That love will always drive them to improve in every aspect of their musical journey.

I would recommend younger students to take 30 minute lessons as an hour may be too long for them. I will charge half-price($20) for 30 minutes.
