About Robert

My name's Robert, I'm from London, and I'm a Cambridge Delta qualified native-speaking English teacher with 19 years teaching experience under my belt. I have taught all aspects of ESOL, at all levels, helping literally 1000s of learners achieve their goals in general English, business and legal English, as well as having a track record of success in exam preparation. I have worked in some of the most prestigious English academies in the UK and Spain, including International House and Frances King. I successfully set up my own English teaching service in Málaga, Spain (London English Teaching), working as an in-company trainer and course designer for a number of Spanish law firms, including Cuatrecasas and Uría Menéndez. As well as preparing students for IELTS and the Cambridge exams with an overwhelming record of positive results. I have recently relocated to London, where I currently work as a freelance professional. I am a fluent Spanish speaker, and in my spare time I love making music, both recorded and playing live, as well as going to gigs and visiting the many art galleries in the great city of London.

About the lesson

My classes are tailored to the individual needs of my students. For example, you may wish to just practise the speaking and writing parts of the IELTS test, or perhaps you want to focus on your pronunciation and conversation skills. I am able to design a course, based on any of your specific requirements, after an extensive needs analysis that I carry out with all my students. My classes and courses are interactive and dynamic, bringing 19 years teaching experience and a Level 7 Cambridge Delta teacher-training diploma to the table. My philosophy to education, is that the best environment for good learning is one that is stress-free, where studying is an enjoyable and productive experience in which personal confidence has the space to flourish and grow, facilitating successful outcomes in acquiring new language. I look forward to hearing from you.

Rob is a magnificent teacher. Thanks to him, I was able to achieve the score I needed on the IELTS exam, a 6.0. Moreover, my husband needed a 7.0, and with Rob's help, he was able to achieve it as well.
