About Rubna
I am a masters graduate from IISER Pune, India. I studied physics and biology and did my dissertation in neuroscience. I am passionate about teaching and made it a side job while I look for suitable PhD positions. I have interdisciplinary background and research experience which helps me try new methods in teaching.

I believe no concept is too hard to understand. You can break it down, digest one thing at a time, and build the rest on it.
My methods are built on the understanding, that every person has unique abilities and limitations and it's the teacher's job to understand the student and assist their growth.
First, I go through the material thoroughly and explain it to the student in simple language and suitable analogies. I make notes and and practice problem and make sure they go through it. The details in my notes will be according to the student's capacity and goals. The exercises I give will require application of the knowledge acquired not just the words I thought.
I try to make my class a safe and healthy space and the process stress free and fun.
