About SYED
Hi, I'm Syed Mihran, a first-year Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College London, with A* grades in A level Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I enjoy maths most when the underlying idea clicks, and I like helping students reach that point instead of just memorising methods. I tutored A level Maths one-to-one earlier this year, and I adapt each lesson to your pace and the topics you find hardest.

I'm a first-year Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College London with A* grades in A level Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I have tutored A level Maths and GCSE Maths one-to-one. Where a topic has a clear idea behind it, such as calculus, vectors or proof, I start from the intuition and fundamentals so you understand why a method works, not just how to apply it. For the more procedural parts of the syllabus, I focus on exam technique and practise exam-style questions with you until you can solve them independently. Lessons last 60 minutes and are tailored to your exam board and the topics you find hardest. I teach A level Maths and GCSE Maths. I also teach Core Pure and Further Pure A Level Further Maths modules.
