About Zen Alabeedin
Hi, I’m Zen Alabeedin, a Mechanical Engineering MEng student with a strong academic background in Maths, Physics and Engineering. I am passionate about helping students feel more confident in subjects that can often seem difficult or overwhelming.
I take my role as a tutor seriously and always aim to be reliable, well-prepared and professional. My goal is to support each student with patience and encouragement, while helping them develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.

Hi, I’m Zen Alabeedin, a Mechanical Engineering MEng student with experience tutoring Maths, Physics, Chemistry and engineering-related subjects.
My approach is focused on helping students properly understand the topic, not just memorise answers. I usually start by identifying the student’s current level, any gaps in their knowledge and the areas they find most difficult. I then explain the theory clearly, break problems down step by step, and work through exam-style questions to build confidence and accuracy.
My lessons are interactive and practical. I encourage students to ask questions, explain their thinking and practise different types of problems. For exam students, I also focus on exam technique, common mistakes, mark scheme language and how to approach questions under timed conditions.
A typical lesson is usually 1 hour, although longer sessions can be arranged for revision, exam preparation or more advanced engineering topics.
I teach Maths and Physics for GCSE and A-Level students, as well as engineering-related topics for students who need extra support with mechanics, forces, materials, thermodynamics, problem-solving or university preparation. My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, sixth form students and anyone looking to strengthen their understanding in Maths, Physics or Engineering.
