About Raya
I am a tutor who focuses on helping students build confidence and a strong understanding of what they are learning. I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes.
I make my lessons engaging by adapting them to each student’s interests, so learning feels more interesting and relatable. My goal is not just to help students complete their work, but to help them truly understand the material and feel more independent in their studies.
I tutor both elementary and high school students and adjust my teaching style based on their level, pace, and needs. Each lesson typically includes a review of previous material to reinforce learning, followed by a focus on the student’s weaker areas to strengthen understanding and improve confidence.

I am looking to tutor elementary kids and high school kids. My typical lesson goes from review from previous material to reinforce learning then focus on the students weak spots.Then I introduce new concepts in a structured, step-by-step way, followed by guided practice where I support the student as needed. As they gain confidence, I encourage independent practice. At the end of the lesson, I summarize key ideas and provide guidance on what to review or practice next.What sets me apart is my ability to adapt lessons to each student’s interests and learning style, making the material more engaging and relatable. I focus not only on helping students complete their work but also on helping them truly understand how to solve problems on their own. I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
