About Hereaclitus
I have 9 years of college under my belt. A BFA from KCAI in painting, printmaking, and Photo/Video. An MFA from YALE in Sculpture. A second master's in Art Therapy. I lived in NYC for 10 years working as an artist assistant for Douglas Davis, an Artist from the 70's. That has created the world's longest poem. It's still online! My practice always has me paying attention to what I am creating and why. After I create I step back and reflect. I can encourage you to dream, to get lost, and wonder out loud. To see art as a metaphysical supplement to reality as Nietzsche said. To see creativity as necessary for living our truth.

I have experience working in private and public schools in NYC and Chicago. But my private lessons on how to see the world as an artist are key. My experimental approaches through methods, techniques, and process. Means we play, discover, and go deeper. Because I'm also trained as an Art Therapist!
