About Ashvin
I am full time tutor and have been teaching since 2015. I currently teach students from the age group of 7 to 16. I am experienced in teaching Maths and English at KS1, KS2 and KS3 levels as well as teaching verbal and non verbal reasoning. Most of the students taught come from both private and public school.
I have also helped children with their 11+ exams. I am a knowledgeable person with a strong academic background and is willing to provide detail upon request. My aim for tutoring your child is to consolidate their learning from school and also enhance their skills and detail about the given subjects.

My teaching method is to make the lesson and topic at hand easy for the student to understand. Each lesson is planned before hand, usually I will contact the student or parents asking for which topic was learnt during the week and which topic the student need help the most.
Activities sheet are then produced to hand out to the child giving a thorough detail on how to tackle the topic and pointers to make it easy to learn.
However if the child does not understand, then I will find the root of the problem and set a solid foundtation where the topic will be easier to understand.
Homework is always given at the end of the lesson to make sure the student has understood the topic.
